DRV Staffing quoted in 2nd Law.com article

DRV Staffing founder Daniel Vahab was just quoted in a Law.com article entitled "The 'Layoff Boomerang': Why Firms Are Scrambling to Rehire Talent in the AI Era."

“People's expectations just were not managed correctly, and they got FOMO," Vahab said. "They went with the trend and the hype, and it's sort of backfired, and now a lot of firms are scrambling to bring people back and fill those roles.”

"Vahab said the legal industry is beginning to recognize that AI is a tool for lawyers to leverage, not a replacement for lawyers. Vehab, whose company works with Am Law 200 firms and boutique firms, said that AI cannot currently fully replace workers performing complex tasks that require critical thinking."

"Ironically, the rise of AI has actually spurred increased demand for specific legal expertise, Vahab said. He noted he has seen a surge in hiring for practice groups like antitrust—due to increased market consolidation—as well as privacy, data compliance and dedicated AI attorneys."
